Don's Lake Claims In NW Ontario
With Gold In Shear Zone

Located in prolific Uchi Sub-province, east of Red Lake (slides 2 & 3). This 7 -claim property comprised of 15 units covers a 3,300 m length of the Don’s Lake Shear Zone (slide 4). The property is 8 miles east of the all season road at the hamlet of Slate Falls (slide 2).

Five (5) drill holes have intersected gold on a 2,650 m strike length of the Don’s Lake Shear Zone (DLSZ) as shown on slide 7. Anomalous gold in humus with co-incident anomalous gold indicator elements Mo. As, Fe, Br and Sb were identified directly over the DLSZ along a 1,400 m strike length of the DLSZ (slide 4).

Profiles of the anomalous soils are shown for line 6W on slides 5 and 6. These are the same anomalous gold indicator elements that were identified in humus soil surveys over the 22-million-ounce Hemlo gold deposit at the Page Williams mine. Profiles of the anomalous soils are shown for line 6W on slides 5 and 6. These are the same anomalous gold indicator elements that were identified in humus soil surveys over the 22-million-ounce Hemlo gold deposit at the Page Williams mine.

Further drilling is recommended under an option (slide 7). A more extensive Power Point Presentation can be seen on line on the Ontario Prospectors association “Property Exchange”.

SALIENT FEATURES OF DON’S LAKE PROPERTY (FOR OPTION)

  • (1) The Don’s Lake Shear Zone (DLSZ) hosts gold associated with pyrite. Five drill holes intersected Au values on the 2,150-m long strike length as shown in slide 4.
  • (2) A 1,650-m long linear gold-in-humus anomaly extends between North Bamaji Lake and Don’s Lake in the swampy soil directly above the DLSZ.
  • (3) The linear gold anomalous sample stations over the DLSZ are accompanied by the anomalous indicator elements Fe, Mo, As , Sb and Br. These are the same gold-indicator elements identified with gold in humus directly over the 22-million ounce Hemlo gold deposit at the Williams mine ‘A-zone’ in two surveys, one by Fortescue and the second by Gleeson et al.

Recommendation
It is recommended that the DLSZ between L7W and L7E (1.4 km) be drill- tested. This drill target is viable. For example: Agnico Eagle’s Lapa mine near Val d’Or PQ is only 400 to 500 m long on strike at considerable depth. All of the deposit lies beneath 500 m vertical depth. It was discovered by deep drilling. This 1400-m long strike length recommended drill target at Don’s lake should be tested with at least five deep drill hole to over 300 m vertical depth.

The Hemlo deposit required over 70 drill holes before discovery because most of the 22-million ounce deposit lies below 500 m depth. The ore reaches till-covered bedrock surface only over a short strike length at the Williams ‘A-zone’. The Hemlo deposit has a strike length of 2,500 m before it plunges to the east and 90% of the Hemlo deposit lies beneath 500 m. It was discovered by a deep drill hole.
