85-120 Yard Per Hour Wash Plant
85-120 yd/hr Vibrating Screen Deck Wash Plant with Oscillating Sluices
Wash plant optimized for fine gold recovery. Built in 2020, run for eight days. Main vibrating deck is a Dillon Screen Shaker deck. 10 hp 3-phase motor. Pre-wash hopper with dual 2” pressure hoses and spray bars. 12” water pressure distributor with 6” intake, frost drains and individual valves for spray bars. Spray bars over deck and in hopper chute. Primary screen is 1” mesh with 4 feet of ½” punch plate in the first section of the upper deck, 1/8” screen lower deck. Screens in good shape. Distributor box with bypass flap directs sand and fine gold into two 24" Knudsen centrifuges. Remainder of material is directed into two 4' wide by 12 foot long oscillating sluice boxes with flow reversers and knock-down flaps. Mounted on skid frame with extra-wide feet for moving over soft ground.
All new 3-phase electric switch gear, new tech-cable wiring. Runs on 40kw 3-phase generator, but a 60 kw would be ideal.
Sluice boxes mounted on an independent heavy duty skid platform with 3-phase motor, gearbox and 4 foot rotating counterweight. Oscillation is controlled with a Mitsubishi electronic speed controller. All wiring, switches and breakers new as of 2020. Sluice capacity is over 90 yards per hour of screened material. Works very well for recovering fine and flat gold.
Comes with 40 foot long by 3 foot wide tailings conveyor mounted on 1962 Mercury truck chassis (no motor) for ease of movement around the mine and so that it can be used as a feed conveyor if needed. Conveyor is new but requires a rebuild of the 15 kw 3-phase motor (about $1,500). Comes with spare 10kw motor.
Runs well, could use a coat of paint and some welding/grinding touch-ups. Otherwise ready to sluice. Heavy duty unit suitable for a commercial operation looking to capture as much fine gold as possible.
$65,000 for everything. Videos of plant operating available upon request. Located 100 km south of Dawson City near the Klondike Highway.
