Union Bar Placer Leases

Location and Access Located within the Clinton Mining Division of British Columbia, Canada, the Union Bar Placer Leases are located 93km North West from Clinton on the Fraser River and 3km South of the Churn Creek confluence. Lease # 936953 which is 356 acres.

The mine site itself is exhibits potential for production values and reserve involving pre-glacial and residual gravels as well as glacial/inter-glacial bench gravels. The original miners were the Chinese who have worked portion of the site with the limited means available at the time. In the early 1990's the owner of the mine site performed 120m3 test (in a 10'x12'x10' excavation pit) located along the high river bench. This test pit produced almost 8 troy oz of gold.

Union Bar Placer leases consists of three claims (for a combined area of 356 Acres) of which two of the claims are detailed in a Geological report - which is available for review. All three claims are located next to each other along the upper east banks of the Fraser River. The mining season can be 8-10months out of a year; however, the winter season is typically warmer in this zone and the potential mining season maybe extended. Typical gold from this area is flour gold mixed with a few smaller nuggets. Serious inquires only please.
