Gold Rush Expeditions, Inc. is proud to present the Historic Twilight Zone Mine Property. This is a 20 acre lode mining claim for sale exclusively through Gold Rush Expeditions, Inc. The Twilight Zone Mine is located just outside of Kingman, Arizona and has been properly staked and marked at all corners.
All Gold Rush Expeditions, Inc. Mineral claims are meticulously surveyed, mapped and researched. Field work is completed by our own Mine Survey Team with over 20 years experience.
The Twilight Zone Mine consists of (two) existing hard rock mine shafts working onto a gold contact zone. The first is a collared and timbered two compartment shaft. The second Twilight Zone mine shaft is visible from the road and accessible with rigging. The second collared shaft is in need of some repair to make for safe ascending and descending.
The claim site is located up an easy 2WD road. Parking is available fifty feet away from the mine entrance. Parking is not large enough for an RV or camper in its current state but some clearing could be done to accommodate. The claim site had little in way of mining relics on site, but contains beautiful mountainous views.
The waste dump is massive for a mine with little documented history; surveyors assessment is that of a mine with 1500-2000' of underground workings. The road to the Twilight Mine claim is well manicured county road with and has three mines total on the road, one of which is the notable Complex Gold Mine.
This is an ideal operation for a small mining company or a small group of like minded miners. Exploration and drilling could be carried out with minimal bonding. Gold is free-milling in the area and the mines have not been commercially operated. Last major work was in the early 1940s.
