Gold Rush Expeditions, Inc. is proud to present the Historic Ambassador Mine Property for sale. The Ambassador Mine is contained within a 20 acre lode mineral claim and offered exclusively through Gold Rush Expeditions, Inc. The Ambassador Mine is located outside of Cottonwood, Arizona. The Ambassador Mine is a legally registered mineral claim and is considered real property by federal and state statutes. The claim has been properly staked and marked at all corners.
All Gold Rush Expeditions, Inc. claims are meticulously surveyed, mapped and researched. On-site field work is completed by Corey Shuman and Jessica Shuman, nationally recognized Mineral Surveyors with over 36 years of combined experience.
The Ambassador Mine is an excellent starter claim with native gold samples visible in the surface dumps. This is a small claim that will not, at present, support commercial operations. The Ambassador Mine may be developed and expanded in the future as the old workings are re-opened and the deposits mapped and explored.
Ambassador Mine claim is remote gold mining camp located in the old Black Hills Mining district of Arizona. The mine is a good producing gold site. Survey team located some samples of native gold in quartz in grab samples from the surface.
There are at least three documented mine portals on the Ambassador Mine claim, two of which were located by the survey team. These portals have suffered from neglect and lack of use and will need to be cleared. The clearing can be done by hand but it is recommended that a small trackhoe be brought in to make the clearing easy.
The road to the claim is long and rough and by no means direct. There are several rock sections that will require good clearance and 4WD. The roads are navigable and most have been travelled by UTV. Our survey team did manage to navigate a full size vehicle directly to the claim with only minimal vehicle scratching.
The Ambassador mine is noted for the production of gold and lead. The gold is native (free-milling) and can be processed by hand if desired. These minerals were reported as being found in a large quartz vein and there were over 500 feet of workings.

Mine Workings: Amt. & Conditions One tunnel 275 ft., another tunnel about 200 ft. with crosscut & winze about 75 ft. A new inclined shaft now 46 ft.

A few cars shipped several years ago to the Southwest Metals Cos Smelter at Humboldt, Ariz.[1]
