Granite Creek Mayo Mining District, YukonAt the headwaters of Granite Creek lies seven placer claims and two leases directly above the Jim Davies discovery at the Brodie Claims on Granite Creek. Other claims in this area have produced about 20,000 oz of gold in the first few years of mining in an alpine location without permafrost or black muck.
This property has a new Water License with an expiry date of January 9, 2030. Plenty of time to execute your mining plan.
We embrace the environmental responsibilities of this area and are looking for a responsible neighbour to mine these claims that we will never get to in our lifetime. Property is 70 km from Mayo on government and private roads, 25 km north of the Mayo Dam. Easy road access by pickup and fuel trucks. Room to land a helicopter and an airstrip is nearing completion. Available for sale or to lease on a royalty agreement.
The Archer Cathro camp is on the Mel Claims as they perform exploration work on the hard rock claims for Strategic Metals Ltd. and Upper Canada Mining Inc. Excerpt from Strategic Metals Mount Hinton Project webpage (https://www.strategicmetalsltd.com/projects/mount-hinton):
Although silver mineralization is found in veins on the Mount Hinton property, gold is the most significant component in many of the 73 bedrock showings and float occurrences that have been discovered to date. Mineralized shoots on the veins typically grade between 1 and 30 g/t gold, 50 and 1500 g/t silver and 0.5 to 2.5% lead. Maximum grades of 2,340 g/t gold, 30,822 g/t silver, and 75% lead have been returned from rock samples. Creeks draining the property have yielded significant placer gold production and are still being mined. Previous operators identified numerous soil geochemical anomalies and geophysical targets that have not yet been drilled or trenched.
