Goldpan Creek is located about 19 kilometres West of the South end of Dease Lake. Placer gold was discovered on the creek in 1924. Recorded gold production to 1940 totalled 84,467 grams (2716 ounces).
Sowchea Creek, Fort St. James BC
18.44 Hectare Placer claim on Sowchea Creek 20 minutes outside of Fort St. James, and approximately 2 hours from Prince George. Claim has access on both sides of creek. Historical reports indicate that Placer gold occurs mainly in the lower 0.9 to 1.2 metres of gravel overlying a clay seam that acts as a false bedrock. Test results returned an average of between 0.65-0.48 grams per cubic yard.
McDame Creek, Jade City BC
16.55 Hectare Placer claim on McDame Creek, Located just across Highway form Jade City. Good access road through claim. 64,117 ounces were recovered from McDame creek by 1945, and British Columbia’s largest Nugget 72 ounces was found on McDame Creek.
